1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Satyashodhak Mahila Vikas Mandal (“Satyashodhak,” “NGO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the https://satyashodhak.org website, as well as any other media form, channel, mobile website, or application related or connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

We are a registered non-governmental organization in India (MCA CSR-1 Registered: CSR00030098) with administrative headquarters in Maharashtra, India. By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SITE AND MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

2. Intellectual Property & Beneficiary Media Protection

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property. All source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, text, photographs, graphics, videos, and organizational materials (collectively, the “Content”), as well as the logos and service marks contained therein (the “Marks”), are owned, controlled, or licensed by Satyashodhak, and are protected under Indian Intellectual Property Laws (including The Copyright Act, 1957 and The Trade Marks Act, 1999) and international conventions.

Strict Protection for Minor Beneficiaries: Photographs, videos, and impact stories featuring students (including students of Tisgaon Vidyalay) and rural beneficiaries are posted under strict organizational consent frameworks. You are expressly prohibited from downloading, reproducing, scraping, or misusing media featuring minor children for any commercial, defamatory, or unauthorized purpose.

3. User Representations & Code of Conduct

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

• All information you submit (including donation details, scholarship applications, and volunteer forms) is true, accurate, current, and complete.
• You have the legal capacity and agree to comply with these Terms of Use.
• You will not access the Site through automated or non-human means (bots, scripts, or scrapers).
• You will not use the Site for any illegal, unauthorized, or fraudulent purpose.
• You will not harass, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees, trustees, teachers, or volunteers engaged in organizational work.

4. Donations, CSR Contributions & Refund Policy

Satyashodhak accepts voluntary contributions, institutional grants, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to execute educational and social welfare projects (such as School Bus Support, Uniform Drives, and ICT Digital Literacy Labs).

• Section 80G Tax Exemption: Eligible donations qualify for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Official Form 10BD receipts are issued upon statutory verification.
• Refund Commitment: Donation refunds are governed strictly by our Refund Policy. Refund requests must be submitted within 03 days of transaction via our official Google Form Verification Portal.
• Same-Account Safeguard: Verified refunds are processed within 3 working days and credited strictly to the originating bank account or UPI ID.
• Receipt Invalidation: Upon refund processing, any issued 80G tax receipt will be formally voided with the Income Tax Department.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which Satyashodhak makes it available. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Systematically retrieving data or content to compile directories or databases without written permission.
• Attempting to defraud the NGO, its officers, or donors in connection with online transactions or banking information.
• Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security-related features of the Site.
• Disparaging, tarnishing, or harming the reputation of Satyashodhak Mahila Vikas Mandal or its educational partners.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, Trojan horses, or spam material that disrupts Site performance.

6. Third-Party Websites & External Content

The Site may contain links to external platforms (such as payment gateways, UPI applications, YouTube video embeds, or Google Forms). Such third-party websites are not monitored or checked for accuracy by us. We hold no liability for third-party content, terms, or privacy practices. Your interaction with third-party portals is conducted entirely at your own risk.

7. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability

Liability Shield for NGO Personnel: In no event will Satyashodhak Mahila Vikas Mandal, its Trustees, Directors, Officers, Employees, Volunteers, or Agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in NGO programs.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Satyashodhak and its representatives against any claims, losses, damages, or legal expenses arising out of: (1) your breach of these Terms of Use; (2) your violation of third-party rights (including IP or privacy rights); or (3) unauthorized misuse of organizational assets or beneficiary media.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed following the laws of India. Satyashodhak Mahila Vikas Mandal and yourself irrevocably consent that the competent courts located in Maharashtra, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or website usage.
